Roy Frenzel passed away April 1, 2019, at the age of 80.
Roy was born December 20, 1938 in San Antonio to Walter and Hilda (Hierholzer) Frenzel. His father was a dairy farmer while his mother was an active farmer's wife, taking care of home and family. Growing up with sisters Alice and Marcella in Floresville and Bryan, Roy loved music and played the bass guitar. He started out playing in the Pentecostal church and continued into playing in a band - Dennis Ivey and the Wayman. After graduating from Floresville High School, Roy went on to attend McKenzie Baldwin Business School.
Roy worked in the banking industry throughout his life. He was the vice president of First Bank and Trust. He was also president of commercial lending. In his free time Roy continued with his passion for music by playing the bass guitar. He served our country in the National Guard.
