Jeremiah David Smith

Our Darling Son:
Jeremiah David Smith
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart” Jeremiah 1:5

Jeremiah David Smith was born February 12th, 2019 at 4:48p.m. to proud parents, David Cody Smith and Hayley Kathryn Smith, and older brother, Elijah Wayne Smith. He was brought into this world at Baylor Scott & White Hospital College Station surrounded by God Almighty’s angels in the form of doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. What an absolute miracle he was. A beautiful, strong baby boy. Ten perfect fingers and ten little toes. As his parents, we chose to wait until our delivery to find out the gender, and you can imagine what a wonderful surprise it was to know our son Elijah has been given a little brother.

Our darling boy was moved by Careflight angels who delicately handed him over to additional angels in the NICU at Baylor Scott & White in Temple. February 13th, 2019 at 7:45a.m. our precious son, Jeremiah David was called home to be with His Heavenly Father.

Our Great Creator gave us time to hold our sweet boy as we watched his perfect soul pass from our arms and back once again to his Maker, God Almighty. We are so very thankful to have carried Jeremiah for 35 weeks where we spent dreaming of who he would be. His time spent in our arms will never be enough but we find comfort that he will spend eternity with God in Heaven.

Jeremiah is survived by parents, Cody and Hayley Smith of College Station, TX. Grandparents, Tony and Vickie Fears of Tyler, TX. Grandparents, R.D. and Cindy Smith of Athens, TX. As well as several great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many loved ones.
