Evelyn Brinkmann Kosh, 91, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2018.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 PM on Sunday, August 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan with Rev. Msgr. John McCaffrey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Saturday, August 25 at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan with rosary being recited at 6:30 PM.
Evelyn was born April 9, 1927 in Birch, Texas and lived in Bryan her entire adult life. She was a homemaker and longtime bookkeeper of Kimbell Feed Company in Bryan until her retirement, along with her husband, in 1992.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Freddie Kosh, her parents, Henry Brinkmann and Milady Popek Brinkmann, brothers Aldie and Stanley Brinkman and a sister, Georgie Shaver.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Mary) Kosh; daughters, Carolyn (Richard) Gardner, Cynthia (Leon) Blackwelder, Cheryl (Charles) Kessler and Claudia (Edward) LeDoux; 12 grandchildren, Sheila (Dan) Drummond, Michael Kessler, Andrea (Tommy) Teague, Jason Blackwelder, Adam (Robin) Blackwelder, Nathan Blackwelder, Heather Gardner, Clinton (Courtney) Kosh, Glenn Gardner, Gregory (Anna) Gardner, Clayton (Rachel) Kosh and Laura Kessler; 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Henry “Buddy” (Billie) Brinkman; three sisters, Henrietta Hein, Joan Klagmann and Annie (Alphine) Rathjen; sister-in-law, Bernice Brinkman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
