Crystal Leigh Mitts

Crystal Mitts was born March 20, 1980 in Santa Ana, California.
Crystal was a very passionate woman who cared deeply about what she believed in. She did not change her mind easily. Crystal had a real love of life and an unpredictable sense of humor. Her enthusiasm for life took her “the whole nine yards.” Crystal’s family, friends, and dogs were very important to her. Dog rescues were close to her heart.
Crystal was a massage therapist who had recently opened her own business. She thrived as she made a big difference in people’s lives with her healing hands.
When she wasn’t working, Crystal enjoyed riding on a motorcycle with her husband Jake, watching WWE Wrestling with her son Jacob and talking about books with her step-daughter, Makenzie. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and, of course, her furry friends. She and her husband Jake were fortunate to have been able to take a trip to Ireland where they made unforgettable memories together. She often made references to the things and places she saw there.
Crystal leaves behind her husband Jake, her son Jacob, her step-daughter Makenzie, her father, Gary, her grandmother, Mary and many adopted family members.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Jacob Mitts, 9181 Panther Creek Road, Iola, TX 77861. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Betty’s Animal Sanctuary of Iola on Facebook or the Urgent Animal Rescue of Hearne at 979-279-9201.
