Wesley Thomas Medders

Wesley Thomas Medders born on October 5, 1985, went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 26, 2021. For the family and friends he loved so dearly, so unconditionally, this was far too soon.

Wesley was extremely smart, loved playing football and baseball. He loved his time with friends and considered most of them family. Wesley could fix almost anything you put in front of him. He loved doing carpentry and home repairs. One thing that made him extremely proud was that he went to The University of Texas and was a die hard Longhorn. His biggest love, besides his wife, was Jesus Christ. He loved ministering to men and women who were struggling with addictions. He loved showing them the love of Christ and leading them to the Cross.

Wesley met Emily in 2018 and he made her his wife on May 19, 2019. He loved Emily with his whole heart. In February 2019, they adopted their dog Lincoln that became their baby. They both loved and adored that sweet dog. While they lived in College Station, their goal was to adventurously move to Daytona, Florida where he felt at home the most.

Wesley joins his mother Karen Hingson in Heaven. He is survived by a host of family members. His wife Emily, Father Frank and his wife Teresa, Brother Travis and wife Micaela, In-laws, Randy and Sandy, Sister and Brother in law Kelsey and Conner and nephew, Everett. Several Uncles and Aunts; Paul and Virginia, Ross and Virgil. By all these and more Wesley will be severely missed.

More than anything Wesley wanted everyone to know and have a relationship with Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. If you don't have a relationship with Jesus, please ask a friend at his service about how you can experience Christ as your Savior. A public service will be on Wednesday, February 3 at 6:30 at Hilier Funeral home of College Station.
