Vick Anthony Todaro, 57, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022
Vick was born and raised in Houston, Texas to a hardworking Italian family. He was an adorable, but stubborn child that loved to aggravate everyone around him. A die-hard Chevy lover, he had a passion to work on his truck and would never drive anything not made by GM. He went to Catholic school for one year, then transferred to Burbank Elementary, Patrick Henry Middle School, and graduated from Sam Houston High School. The greatest days of his life came with the birth of his two children, Vick II and Desiree.
Vick will be remembered as a hard worker who rarely missed a day of work. While he was set in his ways; he followed a routine every day and believed that one should work hard. He loved to joke and quote friends and TV shows, but his passions in life included his children, his truck, and his pontoon boat. He loved going to Galveston, the Kemah Boardwalk and San Antonio, attending family reunions, and going to Christmas parties with friends and family. He loved fishing, boating, and building model cars and trucks.
He worked in a warehouse for Prime Source Building Products, driving a forklift, loading, and unloading 18 wheelers. Not only was he friendly with all his coworkers and the external truck drivers, but he was also meticulous about safety and received several awards for his standards of care. He also received several service awards throughout his 35 years with the company.
Vick is preceded in death by his parents, Vick Todaro and Angelina Lister Todaro.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children, Vick Anthony Todaro, II and Desiree Laraine Todaro; his sister, Josetta Todaro Ingerman; niece, Angela Diane Rodriguez; great nieces, Marissa Diane Rodriguez, Lauren Nicole Rodriguez, and Ashley Marie Rodriguez; and his beloved cat, Bella.
