Traci Kellene Pfeil, 58, went Home to be with her Lord on November 11, 2022
Traci grew up in Brownsville and San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Douglass MacArthur High School where she met her future husband, Richard, when she threatened to beat up his ex-girlfriend. She went on to work as a pre-school teacher, secretary at BVCAA, in loss prevention, and also as a model.
The most important things in Traci’s life were her family; she loved them all dearly. She believed in honesty and kindness and always reminded them, “You are kind. You are smart. You are important. You are beautiful.”
Collections of snowmen, crosses, angels, and art made by her grandchildren were her prized possessions. She loved baking, arts and crafts, motorcycle riding, relaxing on the beach, game shows (particularly Wheel of Fortune), talking with friends, and taking care of her cats. She cherished trips to the beaches of Galveston and South Padre and to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rallies.
A devout Catholic at St. Anthony’s Church in Bryan, Texas, Traci was a member of the Altar Society. A kind, loving, and giving woman, she was also involved with many organizations including Brazos De Dios Motorcycle Club, Brothers Keepers Motorcycle Club, Boy Scouts of America, and Parent-Teacher Organization at Bowen Elementary.
Traci is reunited in Heaven with her mother, Roslynne Gayle Tucker; father, Clyde William Kelly; best friend, Mary Ann O’Bannon; and her cats, Spats and Scout.
Traci is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Richard Pfeil; children, Kevin Pfeil, Cody Pfeil, and Scott Goldberg; grandchildren, Maddalynn Pfeil, Rosalind Pfeil, and Nicolette Pfeil; brother, Daniel Ray Sandford; and her adored cats, Sturgis and Kimber Puppy.
The family wishes to acknowledge the following special people, their close friends, Mary Ann O’Bannon, Rosemary Kana, Kris Lloyd, and Sheila Haecker for their love and support.
