Thomas Escobar

Thomas Escobar, 52, of Bryan, Texas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 25, 2021. A visitation will be held at 5 pm on Wednesday, February 3 at Hillier of Bryan. A Life Celebration will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 4 at Hillier of Bryan. A graveside will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Thomas was born on April 1, 1968, to his parents, Ascension and Amelia Escobar. He spent his childhood growing up in Bryan with his many siblings.

Thomas worked at a Coca-Cola bottling company where he made many of his friends. He was also very involved in the community through volunteering. He loved working with Habitat for Humanity and with the Special Olympics. In his spare-time he loved to play football, basketball, watch MMA fighting, and listen to music. He was also a musician himself and played guitar for his whole life. Some of his most cherished possessions were his instruments and memorabilia he collected from different bands.

Thomas met the love of his life, Lynette, through a family member. They married and had three beautiful children together, all whom they love with all of their hearts.

Thomas was truly a family man. He adored his loved ones and enjoyed living his life with them. He would frequently take his family to concerts and on trips to San Antonio. Thomas would say the best day of his life was the day that his children were born. They meant the world to him and he loved to celebrate their accomplishments, big and small. He would even keep all their elementary school projects that they would make.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife Lynette Escobar; his children Brandon Escobar, Justin Escobar, and Morgan Escobar; his siblings Robert Escobar, Irma Escobar, Ruben Escobar, Irene Escobar, and Victor Escobar; he also leaves behind his furry friends Sylvester, Rocky, Chewy, and Benny.

Thomas is reunited with his mom Amelia and his father Acension.
