Theresa Linda Becka, 70, of College Station, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan, Texas.
Theresa was born in La Grange, Texas, one of five children to John and Lorene Kovar. Thoughtful, kind, and supportive, Theresa was always considerate of others and nice to everyone. She was a founding and long-time member and adorer at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She devoted 36 years of service at the Corps of Cadets Recruiting Office at Texas A&M University.
Theresa loved spending time outdoors whether at the beach, camping trips, or taking walks. She also enjoyed sewing and needlework, learning the game of Mahjong, assembling jigsaw puzzles, and sharing recipes.
She has been reunited with her loving husband of 38 years, Tommy Becka; and parents, John W. and Lorene A Kovar.
Theresa is survived by her children, Mark Becka and wife Nicole of College Station, Texas, Kristie Mata and husband Adam of Bryan, Texas, and Sara Becka of Panama; grandchildren, Branden Becka, Camryn Mata, and Andi Becka; siblings, Lorene Nitschke, J.D. Kovar and wife Madeline, Charlie Kovar and wife Liz, and Erwin Kovar and wife Betty, all of Fayetteville, Texas; and a host of extended family and friends.
