Sunny Barringer, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth, passed away on May 10, 2024. 

She was born on September 24, 1955, and grew up in Houston, Texas. After graduating from high school, Sunny pursued a passion for by attending Cosmetology School.

Sunny wore many hats throughout her life, excelling in each role she undertook. From being a dedicated homemaker to a nurturing nanny, a skilled manicurist to an enthusiastic aerobics’ instructor, Sunny's versatility knew no bounds.
 
Sunny was not only a wonderful mother to her children but also known for her amazing baking skills; especially during Christmas when she would whip up delicious cookies that brought joy to all. Her big heart extended to everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression wherever she went.
 
Sunny's passion for holidays and family gatherings was unmatched. She found joy in baking, gardening, going to the movies, traveling, and indulging in shopping sprees. Her love for life shone through in everything she did.
 
Alongside her career pursuits, she dedicated herself to serving others. Some of her proudest accomplishments included assisting with fundraisers, foster family parties, and supporting her sister in Meals on Wheels initiatives.
 
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Buddy Barringer; parents, Bill and Dawn Kruse; and nephew, Austin McClellan.

Sunny leaves behind cherished memories with her children, Landon Roberts (Kelly), Amber Byrd (Scott), Mandy Thompson (Eric), Tamara Frieze (Kevin), and Troy Barringer; grandchildren, Dalton Sparks, Dakota Anderson, Linsey Richards (Zack), Austin Byrd, Cody Gould, Cale Gould, Chase Parmelly (Jennifer), Denver Thompson, Johnnie Thompson, Kenady Thompson, Cooper Thompson, Tatum Romine (Jarrod), Tanner Garvin, Jarek Barringer, Brock Barringer, Braden Barringer, and Jaxton Barringer; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Shae, Aria, Genesis, Taeleah, Fields, and Briggs; sister, Stacey McClellan (Rick); brother, Kevin Kruse; and grand-puppies, Minnie and Rose.
 
Sunny's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was loved beyond measure.
