Steve Henry Finger

Steve Henry Finger, 75, spent his early years in Mineral Wells, Texas but graduated high school in Corpus Christi and completed his education by graduating college at West Texas State University. He met his wife, Jackie, in San Antonio at a small college.

Steve did not know a stranger. Very friendly, outgoing, and loving life to its fullest, he could make anyone feel at ease in any situation. His legacy was that you should always be accepting and thoughtful of others and be thankful of any service given you.

He loved Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings and the many family vacations to Big Bend National Park, making 36 trips to hike, visit, and photograph nature. He loved to play bridge and dominoes and read.

With a strong and passionate faith in his Lord Jesus Christ, Steve believed that if you stumbled, you should make it part of the dance because God would always make a way.

He has been reunited in Heaven with his parents, L.C. and Anna Finger, and many friends and family.

Steve is survived by his wife, Jackie Finger; children, Rebecca Hill and husband Darrin Hill and Jonathan Michael Finger and wife Lauren Finger; sibling, Kenneth Finger; and granddaughters Darian Mae Hill and Daylynn Joy Hill.
