Sharon Diane Camp

August 3, 1953 — June 4, 2022

College Station

Sharon (Sheri) Diane Camp went home to be with her Lord on June 4th, 2022 at the age of 68. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family.  Sheri was born in Baytown, TX on August 3rd 1953 and grew up in Mont Belvieu, TX. She graduated from Barbers Hill High School in 1971. She was also a graduate of Sam Houston State University in 1975 where she met the love of her life, Ben Camp, just two weeks before her graduation. The two were married for 45 years; Ben loved and adored Sheri and never left her side through her illness.

Sheri was a talented event planner and interior decorator. Every space she touched sparkled. She enjoyed crafting, spending time with grandchildren, traveling, and making memories with those she loved. She was a long time member of B/CS Christian’s Women’s Club where she made many wonderful, life long friends. She was a dedicated mother who encouraged her family to pursue their dreams and not to take things for granted.

Preceding Sheri in death are her parents, Raymond and Betty Jo Epperson, and in-laws, Bennie and Mary Camp. She leaves behind her husband, Ben Camp; daughter, Courtney Camp, son, Michael Camp and wife, Becca; grandchildren, Samantha Ivey, Micah Camp, and Ansley Camp; and sister-in-law, Maggie Kruse and husband, Dale.
