Sandra Lee King

Sandra Lee King, 82, of Bryan, TX, passed away Monday, July 3^rd, 2023. She was the wife of the late James Thomas King for 42 years.

Born on July 17^th, 1940 in Vallejo, California, she was preceded in death by her parents Wallace Benton Anderson and Merle Siegfred Jacobson.

She grew up in San Francisco, California and met her husband James, while he was in the Navy and stationed there. After they married, they moved to Texas and settled in Waco, where she raised a family. She worked at Goldstein-Migel, gained her certification in nursing home administration, and was office manager for Jones Blair Paint. They remained in Waco until James’ passing in 1999. Afterwards she lived in Buffalo, Rockdale, and Bryan until her passing.

Besides her children and family, her passions were her beloved cats, doll-making, and serving alongside her church family.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Todd King and his wife Linda, LeeAnn Hicks and her husband Randy, Audrey Lenore Reznicek, and Wesley Benton King and his wife Melba; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her siblings Patsy Ahlf of Pottsboro, PA, Betty Lou Parker of Chico, CA and Ken Anderson of Palm Spring, CA.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Teresa Headlee and Debbie Davis for their wonderful friendship and exceptional care given to Sandra. She was also lovingly cared for by her daughter-in-law Linda for the past 6 years.
