Rosie Quinn

July 24, 1932 — June 2, 2023

Bryan, TX

Rosie Patranella Marino Quinn, age 90, joined her Lord in Heaven on Friday, June 2, 2023. She was born July 24, 1932. Rosie grew up in Mumford and Bryan Texas. She will always be remembered for her smile! She was a happy person, a hard worker, a good cook, and an honest and giving person who loved her family. She cherished every family gathering! She believed that when one door closes, another opens, therefore her values included treating everyone alike, loving your family and staying close, her Italian heritage, and her faith.

Her first love was Luke C. Marino, but after his death at a young age, she met C.C. Quinn at Lakeview Club and they soon married.

Rosie worked at A&M University and owned several businesses. Her faith was important to her and she attended St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society. She was also involved with VFW 4692 Ladies’ Auxiliary and American Legion.

Rosie has been reunited with her husband, Luke C. Marino; her beloved son, Luke C. Marino Jr.; C.C. Quinn; her parents, Frank and Carrie Cuccia Patranella; sisters, Lucy Vacante, Laura Salvaggio, Marie Stetz; and brother, Frank Patranella, Jr.

The family wishes to acknowledge the special care given by Traditions Hospice and beloved caregivers and friends, especially Maria and Vickie who became part of the family. Rosie spent over seven years at Carriage Inn and the family thanks them for their love that led Rosie to call it “home”. Also, the family extends thanks to family, friends, and church family for their love, support, and prayers.
