Robert Dwight White

Reverend Robert Dwight White was born March 03, 1945 in Bryan/College Station, TX at St. Joseph Hospital to his late parents, Abner Leroy White, Sr. and Armelia Kirk White. Reverend White was the eighth child of twelve children born to his parents.

Reverend White attended Lincoln High School and worked many years as a carpenter for his own self-owned business.

Reverend White lived in the Fort Worth, TX area for many years prior to moving back to the Bryan/College Station, TX area.

Reverend White’s home church at the time of his departure was Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of College Station, TX—Reverend A.C. Clark Sr. , Pastor. For years, Reverend White was a long member and active  Reverend of Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Wellborn, TX under the guidance of his late nephew, Reverend Cedric Goodman, Sr., Pastor. Reverend White was also Co-Pastor of St. Ann’s of Fort Worth, Texas for many years. Reverend White also long affiliation with New Breed Christian Center of Fort Worth, Texas—Dr. Darrell Blair, Senior Pastor & First Lady LaTonja Blair. Reverend White also was long visiting Reverend to St. Matthews Baptist Church of Fort Worth, TX , where late Rev. Pope, Pastor.

Reverend White married late Beatrice McMillian on June 17, 1967 and were blessed with three lovely children from the union. Reverend White later remarried Jerelene Williams White on August 17, 1998 and stay joined in union until the day of his departure.

Reverend White retired from carpentry work and joined forces with J & H Security Enterprise, Inc. to perform security guard services and work alongside many co-workers and friends over the years to secure locations in the Bryan/College Station and Prairie View, TX area. Reverend White diligently worked  with such positive demeanor and grandeur, he was well known and liked by many business owners, administrators, students, and many more.

Reverend White enjoyed family and friends, while greeting every person with a great exuberant smile. Reverend White leaves to cherish his memory: wife- Jerelene Williams White; children: Kathy Jones (Claude Jones), Dwight White ( Mary White), Helena Moore ( James Moore), Cleo White Sr. ( Chysta White), Theo White, Sharod Gray Sr. ( Victoria Gray); brothers: Reverend Andrew R. White ( Dorthy White) and Reverend Joseph White ( Meredith White); sister: Lover Goodman Woods ( late Rev. Rudy Woods); twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
