Richard Brown

Richard Brown passed away surrounded by his family on November 6, 2023 in Bryan, Texas. He was born on September 2, 1954 to George and Margaret Brown. Richard's life was filled with good times and cherished memories that will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Richard had skilled hands and was the owner of his own business, R&M Remodeling. Outside of work, he loved to have a good time. You could always find him at the local bars and restaurants, laughing and dancing with a beer in his hand! His outgoing personality was loved by so many. 

Fishing was one of Richard’s favorite hobbies, but nothing compared to family. Richard valued his family more than anything. He loved hosting barbecues at his home. He could make people laugh and always be counted on for a good joke. Some of his best days were weekend trips to San Antonio with his grandson, Buddy. 

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Brown; one sister; one brother; and the mother of his children, Antonia Carlos.

He is survived by his daughters, Rachel Brown and Julie Hernandez (Julian); grandchildren, Vivian Amaya, Jade Hernandez, Alexandria Contreras, Destiny Contreras, Julian “Buddy” Hernandez, Marc Hernandez, Jacoby Garcia, and Cesar Garcia; five great-grandchildren; one sister; and one brother.
