Petronella “Patsy” “Busha” Wilganowski, 76, of Bryan passed away Friday, June 27, 2008, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at Hillier Funeral Home with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Services are set for 1 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Patsy was born on March 23, 1932, in Bremond, Texas, to John and Catherine Budzisz. She was an excellent cook and she loved flowers and children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Verna and Cecelia Glowski; and five brothers, Fred, Steve, Sam, Joe and Frank Budzisz.
Survivors include her loving husband, Antone Wilganowski of Bryan; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Barbara and Gary Clack, Rose Russell, Patty and Richard Hammond of Bryan, Cathy and Jim Locke of Tabor, Stephanie and Wes Hancock of Caldwell and Wendy and Steve Pruske of Temple; six sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony Wilganowski, Kenneth Wilganowski, David and Susan Wilganowski, Joseph Wilganowski and Thomas Wilganowski, all of Bryan, and Bill Wilganowski of Cameron; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Gertrude Barsloue of Houston; two sisters-in-law, Sophie Budzisz and Augustine Budzisz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
