Peggy Ann (Gaas) Stevens, 52, of Bryan passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at her residence.
Peggy was born on December 16, 1955, to Richard E. and Erma M. (Heine) Gaas in Bryan. Peggy was an interior decorating consultant and a member of Evangelical Church of Christ in Caldwell.
Peggy was a caring and creative person who enjoyed life and people. She would unselfishly give of herself for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Her passion was gardening, flowers and her home. Her pets, Sugar Bear and Susie, were her children and she loved them deeply.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Layne E. Stevens; her parents, Erma and Richard E. Gaas of Bryan; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Cathy Gaas of Calvert; niece, Christine Olsen of Dallas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
