Paul M. Mason, age 89 of College Station, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in the Richardson Regional Hospital. Paul was born December 25, 1917 in Irene, Texas to Joe Thomas Mason and Mamie Florence Shipley Mason.
Paul received his Masters degree from Texas A&M University. He joined the military and served in the United States Army Air Corps before returning to College Station where he was Associate Professor of Engineering Graphics at Texas A&M University in 1946. On August 20, 1955, he married May Clarke and he remained with the university until his retirement in 1987.
He was a former member of the A& M Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Laura Mittel.
Survivors include his wife May Mason and a son
Don Mason of Garland.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am Saturday, March 24, at Hillier Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm this evening and from 9-11am Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund; 6110 Executive Blvd.,
