Patti Clark

January 19, 1936 — January 1, 2024

It is with sad hearts that we inform our friends and family, that after fighting a good fight this last year with congestive heart failure, Patti Iris Minkert Clark, of Bryan, Texas passed away on January 1, 2024, at Saint Joesph Hospital in Bryan, Texas. She was 87 years old.

Patti fell in love and was married to Othor Evan “Pete” Clark for 64 years which resulted in this loving couple having 2 fine sons that brought joy and happiness to their home. They made their home in Bryan, Texas and lived their lives together here.

She was a wonderful artist that could paint and turn any old thing into a gem. She enjoyed embroidering jackets, dresses and shoes and was always looking for ways to dress things up around her home. Patti was proud to have grown up in Bryan and was always helping the local museums with family information and artwork to add to the collections so that others in the community could learn about the people who helped build this town.

Patti is survived by her loving husband, Othor Evan “Pete” Clark of Bryan, Texas. Her sons, Thomas Glenn Clark of Bryan, Texas and James Leslie and Teresa Clark of Livingston, Texas. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren whom she adored and was so proud of, Kalan James and Kasey Clark of Prattville, Alabama and Kacy Renee and Chris Petersen of Beavercreek Ohio. Patti has 6 great grandchildren that were the apple of her eye.. Ari Clark, Gwen Clark, Granger Clark, Isla Clark, Anders Petersen and Aksel Petersen. Her siblings, Lizbeth Johnson and Jessie Minkert as well as many living relatives and close loving friends that have been so very important in her life.
