Misty Richey

Misty was born April 23, 1973 in San Saba, TX to Roy Wisdom and Debbie Weatherford and was surrounded by loved ones in the last moments of her life, peacefully passing into the arms of Jesus on April 25, 2024.

She received her nursing degree from Joe G. Davis School of Vocational Nursing. Her calling was to care for the elderly, and she was incredibly gifted in this area. She took her nursing to heart and treated her patients with such tender loving care. 

Her time was always spent with her family; it’s what she loved the most. Family and friends were precious to her and she always made sure she was dressed and ready to go. 

Misty was preceded in death by stepdad, Ronn Weatherford and grandparents, Kenneth and Dovie Hunt, and Victor and Alvina Wisdom.

 Misty is survived by husband, Shon Richey; children, Kayla Lucas and Lee Whitmire, Jared and Christina Lucas, Cody and Tara Lucas, and Madison Riley Lucas; father, Roy Dean and wife, Lisa Wisdom; mother, Debbie Weatherford; sisters and brother in laws, Chris and Chrystal Cargill, Richard and Rhonda Fore and family, Eddy and Brenda Larkin and family, Dale and Cheryl Harris and family; and grandchildren, Anson, Makinlei, Landon, Kason, Kyla, Colt, and Hoss.
