Mary Elizabeth Billings Dennison went peacefully to rest with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Mary was born on March 5, 1955 as the seventh of 10 children to Whitmore and Margaret Billings of Morgantown, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jeff Billings; and brother, Toby Billings and wife Pam; sisters, Darlene Billings and Myrtle Bohrer. She is survived by her only daughter, Jill Marie Scott Lovell; grandchildren, Rhonda and husband Timothy Cooper, Britny and husband Jose Patlan, and Myra and husband Coleton Thatcher; great-grandchildren, Carlee Cooper, Ira Ryder Cooper, Gene Cooper, and Jenna Cooper. She also leaves behind her brother William (Bill) Billings and wife Gloria; brother Thomas Billings; sister Evelyn Howdershelt; sister, Cathy Allman and husband Bob; and sister, Debra Davis and husband Les; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary is remembered as a comical, adventurous, and free spirited person. She cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved and adored her and her stories. Mary enjoyed playing softball, golfing, and bowling but mostly spending time with family and friends.
She will be honored by flowers at Our Savior's Lutheran Church of College Station during Sunday Service on January 24, 2021. The family is thankful to the competent team at Baylor Scott and White hospital who cared for her in her final days. Cremation arrangements have been made and a private ceremony for the family will be held at a later date.
