Martha Jones

Martha J. Jones, 72, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2008 in Bryan

Martha was born January 29, 1936 to Olga Cless (Smith) Mathews in Arp, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking for her family, and also enjoyed the challenge of teaching herself these skills because she was left-handed. Martha was of the Methodist faith, and was always working in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris M. Jones, in 2002.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Roberta Lynn and Ken Wilgus of Killeen, Texas, Cynthia Ann Jones and Donna Louise and Richard Sieggreen; four grandchildren, Christina Lynn Wilgus, all of Bryan, James Jason and Andrea Wilgus of Lubbock, Texas, Richard Louis Sieggreen IV and Lori Lynn Sieggreen; two great-grandchildren: McKayla Lynn and Jasmine Ann, both of Bryan; brother and sister-in-law, James Lee and Peggy Elliott of Dallas; aunt, Joan Lamar of Palacios, Texas; uncle, Everett Smith and wife, Tudy, of Huffman, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
