Margaret Ruth Tindall (née Mitchell), 89, of Bryan, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at St. Joseph Manor Long Term Care Facility.
Margaret was born on May 14, 1934, in Clarkson, Texas to Nannie Estell and Timothy Oscar Mitchell. She graduated from Yoe High School in 1951 in Cameron, Texas. Margaret had a long and successful clerical career working in both the banking and medical fields. Margaret always enjoyed a good laugh and anyone that knew her, got a kick from her naughty sense of humor. One of her favorite hobbies was filling her numerous bird feeders each day and watching the many different birds that would flock to her yard. Margaret was also an avid animal lover and was rarely without a pet, but above all she loved her grandsons and great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents and six siblings: Teo Mitchell, Olive Mitchell Kennedy, Judge Mitchell, Rudell Mitchell, Jack Mitchell, and George Mitchell.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Mandy Bradley and husband, Raymond of College Station; her son, Jeff Tindall and partner, Araceli Bonilla of New Braunfels; her grandsons, Charles Bradley of College Station, Justin Tindall and wife, Megan of New Braunfels, and Hayden Tindall of New Braunfels; and great-grandchildren, Colton Tindall and Parker Tindall, both of New Braunfels.
The family would like to thank the St. Joseph Manor Long Term Care Facility of Bryan and Remarkable Hospice of College Station for providing Margaret with such compassionate comfort and care.
As per Margaret’s request, there will be a private family gathering at a later date in remembrance of her long life. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Aggieland Humane Society or an animal shelter/rescue of your choice.
