Marcelino Chavira Salazar, 58, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. A visitation will be held from 5-8 pm, with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 pm, on Monday, May 3rd, at Hillier of BRYAN.
Marcelino was born on June 2, 1962, in El Quelital, Mexico, to his parents, Silverio Salazar and Maria Chavira. Marcelino grew up in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, with his siblings. Marcelino met the love of his life, Maria, while working at Plantation Oak, and they then got married.
Marcelino always had a smile on his face & was always a happy person! He would always try to make people laugh, and just wanted everyone smiling and enjoying themselves. Marcelino loved his family, and enjoyed going on trips back to Mexico with his wife to visit his family.
Basketball was his favorite sport, and he loved to watch the games on TV. When he was not with friends and family or playing basketball, you could find Marcelino working on trailers. He could fix just about anything! He worked with trailers, working as a forklift operator for Gooseneck Trailers. He didn't think of his job as work, but more enjoyable.
Marcelino leaves behind his wife, Maria Salazar; children, Rolando and Susana; and four grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
