Lydia Francis

Lydia Mae George Francis was born April 17, 1939, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, and a longtime resident of Tabor community.

Lydia moved on to be with the Lord at the age of 82, at her home in Tabor, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Herndon George; and son, Melton Francis. Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband of 64 years, Carroll Francis; son, Elmer Francis and wife Kelly; daughter, Tammy Clossin; daughter-in-love, Julya Francis; son, Patrick Francis and wife Tammy; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sister, Ralene Dale; and many nieces and nephews.

She found great joy in playing piano at church, singing hymns, and taking care of her flowers.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm, with a Celebration of Life to begin at 2 pm, on Monday, September 27th, at Reliance Baptist Church. Graveside services will follow at Wheelock Cemetery.
