Services for Anna Lucille Dougherty, 95, of Bryan are set for 2pm Monday, November 20th. at Hillier Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery with Reverend Caroll  Fancher and Reverend Harral Dunnam officiating.

Miss Dougherty, longtime Bryan resident and member of the First United Methodist Church of Bryan, passed away late Thursday, November 16th.  Miss Dougherty, or “Tissie” as she was affectionately known to many, will be remembered for her love, caring, and many kindnesses to the people of our community.  Miss Dougherty was a resident of the Bryan community since her teens and worked as an accountant for the  City of Bryan until her retirement.  She loved her friends, this community and her church and she was passionate about education.

Miss Dougherty was born in San Antonio to Dr. Emmett Parnel Dougherty and Woodie Bennett Dougherty.  Both of her parents preceded her in death as well as her step father, David Mitchell (Dee) Mike and by her brother John (Don) Bennett Dougherty.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
