Lori Griffin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lori Griffin, a beloved mother of four, who left us too soon. Lori 47 passed away on November 3, 2023. Lori was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 3, 1976 to Deborah and Robert Griffin. She attended A&M Consolidated High School in College Station Texas

Lori left behind a legacy that, despite its challenges, is deserving of reflection and remembrance.

She may have faced her own personal struggles, and her life had its ups and downs, but in the end she led a life full of grace and love. Lori was known for always being the one you could rely on for help. Before her father, Robert Griffin, passed away, Lori spent all of her free time caring for him and simply spending time with him. She was also a rock for her mother, Deborah Griffin. Lori did everything she could to help and take care of Deborah. She would have given anything to help her kids, that’s how much she loved them. Lori’s grace also extended to her neighbors and friends. She was a helper at heart. 

Her passing serves as a reminder of the importance of empathy, understanding, and forgiveness in our own lives. More than that though, it is a reminder to go through our daily lives with the heart of a servant. To help others in the way she would have. 

May Lori find the peace she may not have fully found in life, and may her children find comfort and healing in their own time of grief.

Lori is survived by her 4 children; Faith and Ariel Carpenter, Leah Griffin, and Colby Burrell, her granddaughter Marcy Pope, her mother Deborah Griffin, stepfather Sam Owens, brother and sister in law Rob and Erica Griffin and her nieces and nephews Kyler Lovelady, Cameron Griffin, and Raven Giffin and was predeceased by her father Robert Griffin.
