Lil was born on November 28, 1925 to Lodger Skubal and Albina (Kurick) Skubal in Bryan. She was known for her upbeat and incredibly sweet personality. She loved ballroom dancing and was so passionate about this art form; she shared her knowledge by teaching others her graceful moves. In addition to her love of dancing, she also greatly enjoyed to travel as well as spend time in the rural country tranquility. Her favorite vacation was to the Bahamas; soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace of mind only a beautiful beach can bring someone. Other things that brought Lillian joy were sweets, more specifically, chocolate pie and ice cream.
Lil was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Williams, who had continued to be held close to her heart until she joined him on May 15, 2017. She also joins her son, Rick; and siblings, Lillie Mae and Willie.
Lillian leaves behind her loving children Ronald and his wife, Diann, Sid and his wife, Ava, Rick’s wife, Ginger; grandchildren, Rhonda and he husband Juan, Kimberly and her husband Dusty, and Maghan and her husband Billy; step-grandchildren, Christi and her husband Frankie, Melissa and her husband Tim; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Zachary; and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
The family encourages memorial contributions to be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
