Laurel was born on August 8, 1951, in Bryan, Texas, to Benny and Lucille Patranella. She was the oldest of her three siblings, Kaye Rasler, and Bennett Patranella. She enjoyed spending her spare time with Rose Greer and her grandma Nita. Growing up she had a normal childhood, she was a cheerleader at Anson Jones, and she obtained her GED and graduated from Career Technical Institute for Computer Science.
She married Sammie Moore, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in 1972, where she became part of the congregation. Soon after that, they started a family, having three children that she loved and adored. They meant everything to Laurel. Laurel was kind and loved to laugh. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. She spent her days doing what she loved to do most, taking care of her family.
In Laurels spare time she enjoyed playing computer games and dancing around a dance floor. She had a soft spot for collecting angels, crosses, and roosters.
Laurel leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Sammie Moore; her sons; Sam Wesley Moore, and Ruben Mathew Moore; as well as her daughter- in-law Kelley Moore. She also leaves behind her loving grandkids and great grandkids; Alyssa Marie Keefer, Samantha Jane Moore, Lillian (Lily) Rebecca Moore, Chloye Marie Williams, Alexis McKenzie Moore, Ruben Mathew Moore Jr., Audrey Danielle Keefer, and Dawson Lee Keefer.
Her son, Luke Joseph Moore; Her father, Benny Patranella; and her granddaughter Lillian (Lily) Rebecca Moore precede Laurel in death.
