Laura Lyons-Hicks

Laura Roberts Hicks, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, educator, and devoted follower of Christ, passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 58. She was born on March 21, 1966.

Laura is survived by her loving parents, Christina and Walter Roberts. She is also survived by her husband Greg Hicks, her daughter Kendall Lyons, and stepchildren Hope Lister, Matthew Hicks, and Hannah Hicks. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren Kylee Lister and Caysen Lister, and her sisters Linda Roberts Morgan, Carol Roberts Martin, and Carin Roberts Reeves, along with their respective spouses Garth Morgan, Bret Martin, and David Reeves. Laura was a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews: Drew and Alyssa Morgan, Mackenzie Morgan, Riley and Cody Brummett, Brittany, Madison, and Meagan Martin, and Taylor and Logan Reeves.

Laura's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to education. She served as an educator for over 25 years, leaving a profound impact as a teacher, principal, and Executive Director of Elementary Education. Her passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning was evident to all who knew her. She was known for her unwavering dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence in education.

Above all, Laura was a woman of faith, guided by her love for Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life, influencing her actions, and shaping her character. While Laura will be deeply missed by all who knew her, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched with her love, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
