Kimberley Nelson Harrison

Kimberley Nelson Harrison, 54,  was born in Tyler, Texas to Ron Gerald Nelson, DVM and Nancy Loetterle Nelson.

Kimberley graduated from Texas A&M University in 1991 and attended Houston Baptist University, where she received a Master’s degree in clinical psychology. She married Houston psychologist, Kit W. Harrison, PhD, on June 17, 2000 and they lived happily together in West University Place, Texas in Houston. Their daughter, Chloe Brooke Harrison, currently attends Lamar High School in Houston and plans to attend Blinn College and Texas A&M University.

Kimberley worked as an educational diagnostician for the Ft. Bend ISD for many years before entering private practice as a Licensed Psychological Associate, where she practiced with her husband in Houston since 2002.  Kimberley loved her family a great deal and was a loving mother and wife. She loved to travel, was a softball team mom for many years, a devoted Aggie and Astro’s fan, and she and her husband had a lovely home on Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas since 2006. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Ron Gerald Nelson, DVM, who served with distinction as a faculty member of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Kimberley is survived by her husband, Kit Harrison; daughter, Chloe Harrison; step-daughter, Hayley Harrison; mother, Nancy Boswell, an educator in College Station for many years; and her brother, John Nelson and wife Alia of Sugarland, Texas with their son, Brandon Nelson, who attends Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
