Katherine Kelley

Katherine Kelley, 63, of College Station, was united with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 1, 2021. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 5-8 pm, at Hillier of Bryan. A Life celebration will be held at the funeral home, at 10 am, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, with a graveside to follow immediately after.

She was born in Bryan, Texas, to Earl and Gail Singletary. She shared a deep bond with her mother; she loved her more than anything in the world. She was always by her side and often shared stories of how inseparable the two of them were. The family finds great comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her loving parents.

Katherine was lucky enough to have spent majority of her life being with the man that she loved the most. David and Katherine met when she was 15 years old and quickly fell in love. They shared 48 wonderful years of marriage together.

She enjoyed her downtime when she was able to knit and crochet, her heart was most content when she got her hands on a new craft. She enjoyed collecting gnomes and crosses as well. Although she did enjoy crafting, Katherine's favorite thing to do was gather together with family. She looked forward to Christmas time and never hesitated to put the Christmas decorations up early! She even had a tree she kept up year round and would decorate for Valentines, Easter, Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving!

Katherine will be missed deeply by her loving husband David Kelley; her children Kimberley Johnson and Angie Scott, David Kelley and his wife Stella, Bobby Kelley and his wife Michelle, Candace Olree and her husband Jarrott; her grandchildren Sarah Johnson, Sierra Kelley, Lane Rice, Kaili Kelley, Bobby Kelley Jr, Kyle Kelley, Zachary Johnson, Kassidy Olree, Tyler Kelley, Carson Olree, Landon Kelley, Whitney Powell, Ashlee Olree, Ethan Kelley, and Hannah Kelley; her great-grandchildren William and Kasen McNeely; her siblings Connie Moore and Thomas Singletary.

Katherine was reunited with her loving parents, Earl Singletary and Gail Singletary (Armstrong); her grandparents Herman and Aline Isbell, as well as Hubert and Aattie Agnes Singletary; Rene Moore; and numerous aunts and uncles.
