Karin Partin

Karin Pauline Partin passed away on December 30, 2021 in Bryan, Texas. She was 80 years old. Karin was born on March 18, 1941 to Otto and Emma (Schönberger) Stegmaier in Schwäbisch-Gmünd, Germany. She leaves behind two children (Sabine Branch, of College Station, and Randall Partin and his wife Susan Brumbaugh of Albuquerque, New Mexico), four grandchildren (Ashley, Karen, Eli, and Sophie), and countless numbers of wider family members, dear friends, coworkers, neighbors, and acquaintances. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Fowler. Karin was generous, kind-hearted, compassionate, and hard-working. She loved traveling and was deeply devoted her family, and she had a particular fondness for the vulnerable and the underdog.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Bryan on Thursday, January 6th at 2pm with Rev. David Gusewelle presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that financial contributions be made in Karin's memory to Casa Aleluya (www.casaaleluya.org), which serves orphaned, abandoned, abused, and mistreated children and young adults in Guatemala. Casa Aleluya was especially dear to Karin and she served on mission trips there many, many times.
