She spent most of her childhood in Sioux Falls, SD where she met and married Jim Russell. Judy is also survived by two grandchildren, Afton and Madelyn; three great grandchildren, Kambree, Lathan and Everly; five siblings, Jim, Janet, Jeanne, Mary and Joyce; and nieces and nephews, Steve, Russ, Heather, Lindsey Matt and Melissa.
Judy’s kind and generous nature attracted many lifelong friends. She loved traveling the world, gardening, art, volunteering, and hosting family and friends. She was a lifelong learner, cheerleader for the underdog, and was fiercely loyal to family and friends. Her heart was big and compassionate and she was always available to anyone who needed her. She left this world a better place. She will be missed more than she could ever know!
The family would like to extend our gratitude to the many caregivers who assisted Judy over the past two years as well as her hospice nurses and others who contributed to her well-being and comfort. Special thanks to Laurie for her kind and compassionate care.
