Joseph Douglas Fry

Joseph Douglas Fry, our friend and our brother in Christ, went to be with our Father in Heaven, on August 19, 2020. A place is vacant in our hearts, a voice is still. There is an emptiness within our hearts the world will never fill.

Our only comfort is you are in Gods loving care, and your prayers have been granted that you can once again hold your dear mothers hand.

Joe was born January 25, 1951, in Hawaii. At the age of four, he and his mother moved back to the states and resided in Jefferson Texas. After high school, Joe joined the Air Force. He then moved his mother to Bryan, Texas, Where he started and finished college at Texas A&M, as an anthropology an History major. Joe also participated in Civil War re-enactments as a hobby. After his graduation, he joined the Texas A&M police department after many years he retired living a simple life in Bryan, reading and studying history.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Hillier of Bryan. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Heights church, 8125 Turkey Creek road, College Station, Texas, 77845
