Jose Antonio Hernandez Sanchez was embraced in Jesus' loving arms on April 23, 2021. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 2, from 5-8 pm, with a Rosary to begin at 6 pm, at Hillier of Bryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 pm, on Monday, May 3, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with a graveside to follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Jose Antonio was happy, energetic, tough, and of course, loveable. He loved to ride his red bike, water the plants, and overall, he really enjoyed the outdoors. He recently became fond of chewing gum…and even understood that he should not swallow it. At times he would wake up from a nap still chewing his gum. He loved his Lelo (grandpa), and couldn't wait to spend time with him. He was always following Lelo everywhere he went and was excited to help him outside. At home he would also follow his dad everywhere he went. Every night, Jose Antonio would enjoy pan con café with his dad. Jose Antonio was very bright and inquisitive. He was eager to learn, especially counting.
Jose was born at Scott and White on Friday, December 14, 2018. He came home on December 21, 2018. He was the third child of the family and was very special. He started walking at 1 year and 2 months old, and once he started walking he was unstoppable! He brought so much laughter and joy to those around him. At his 2nd birthday party instead of blowing out the candles he tried to turn them off with his fingers!
He is survived by his loving parents, Silviano Sanchez and Maryann Hernandez; his siblings, Abigail, Andres, and Cleto; and grandparents, Jose Luis Hernandez, Juanita Hernandez, Maria de la Cruz Reyes Hernandez, and Silviano Pablo Sanchez.
