Ilda Arreola, 67, of Bryan, Texas, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on August 19, 2021. A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 5-6:30 pm, at Hillier of COLLEGE STATION, with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Santa Teresa Catholic Church, on Saturday, August 28th, at 11 am, with a graveside to follow immediately after.

Ilda was born on June 1, 1954, to her parents, Jesus Martinez and Maria Cedillo Veliz, in Junction, Texas. Ilda grew up on both sides of the border and loved both countries. Her life was not easy, but she took her experiences and turned them around to raise strong children. Ilda married her loving husband, Martin Arreola, and enjoyed 38 years filled with love. Together they raised 6 children who were the light of her life and she always had everyone's best interest at heart.

Ilda was a devote catholic woman, who attended St. Teresa Catholic church. One of the things she loved was collecting crosses from the various churches she visited. She spent many hours volunteering at functions and attending religious retreats at her church.

Furthermore, ilda valued her church community dearly.

Ilda was very intelligent, self motivated and had many hobbies. Some of her many hobbies included playing bingo, riding a motorcycle with her husband, cooking and traveling. Of her hobbies, vacations and traveling with family were what she appreciated the most. Ilda was a strong and adventurous woman who had a giving heart.

Ilda will be remembered by her loving husband, Martin Arreola; children, Gerardo Guerrero and wife Veronica, Angelita Guerrero, Juan Guerrero Jr and wife Sylvia, Isabel Guerrero and wife Amy Medina, Jose Arreola and wife Brittney, and Martin Arreola Jr. and wife Victoria. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Gerardo Guerrero Jr., Oscar A. Guerrero, Sebastian E. Guerrero, Olivia C. Guerrero, Arabella R. Guerrero, Liliana I. Guerrero, Julissa P. Guerrero, Mariah L. Guerrero, Mia N. Guerrero, Eliana M. Arreola, Sophia A. Arreola, Vincent G. Arreola, Martin Arreola III, Travis A. Arreola, Mililani L. Arreola, Blanca D. Arreola, and Mirca Arreola. She will be also be missed by her mother, Maria Cedillo Veliz and siblings, Delma Martinez and Gaspar Arreola.

Ilda will be reunited with her father, Jesus Martinez, and sisters, Maria Victoria Duran and Rosa Betali Martinez.

Ilda will be missed dearly by all of her friends, family and loved ones.







Ilda Arreola, de Bryan, Texas, falleció a sus 67 años el 19 de agosto del 2021 rodeada de sus seres queridos. La velación será llevada a cabo el viernes 27 de agosto del 2021 en la funeraria Hillier en COLLEGE STATION de las 5 de la tarde hasta las 6:30. El rosario empezará a las 6:30 pm. La misa de cristiana sepultura será en la iglesia católica de Santa Teresa, el sábado 28 de agosto a las 11 am. El entierro se realizará inmediatamente después de la misa.

Ilda nació el 1 de junio de 1954 en Junction, Texas. Sus padres son Jesus Martinez y Maria Cedillo Veliz. Ilda creció a los dos lados de la frontera y amo a los dos países. Su vida no fue fácil pero ella utilizó esas experiencias para criar hijos fuertes. Ilda se casó con Martin Arreola, su amado esposo de 38 años, con el cual tuvo una vida llena de amor. Juntos educaron a 6 hijos que fueron la luz de su vida. Ilda siempre quiso con todo su corazón lo mejor para todas las personas.

Ilda era una católica muy devota y su parroquia era la iglesia católica de Santa Teresa. A ella le gustaba mucho recoger cruces de las diferentes iglesias que visitaba. Ilda pasó muchas horas como voluntaria y atendiendo retiros religiosos en su iglesia.

Es más, Ilda valoraba su comunidad religiosa con mucho cariño.

Ilda era muy inteligente, emprendedora y tenía muchos pasatiempos. Entre sus pasatiempos estaban jugar bingo, montar en motocicleta con su esposo, cocinar y viajar. Las vacaciones y viajes con su familia era lo que ella más apreciaba. Ilda era una mujer fuerte y aventurera con un corazón muy generoso.

Ilda será recordada por su amado esposo, Martin Arreola; por sus hijos, Gerardo Guerrero y esposa Veronica, Angelita Guerrero, Juan Guerrero Jr y su esposa Sylvia, Isabel Guerrero y su esposa Amy Medina, Jose Arreola y su esposa Brittney, y Martin Arreola Jr. y su esposa Victoria. La van a extrañar sus nietos, Gerardo Guerrero Jr., Oscar A. Guerrero, Sebastian E. Guerrero, Olivia C. Guerrero, Arabella R. Guerrero, Liliana I. Guerrero, Julissa P. Guerrero, Mariah L. Guerrero, Mia N. Guerrero, Eliana M. Arreola, Sophia A. Arreola, Vincent G. Arreola, Martin Arreola III, Travis A. Arreola, Mililani L. Arreola, Blanca D. Arreola, y Mirca Arreola. También la van a extrañar su madre Maria Cedillo Veliz y sus hermanos, Delma Martinez y Gaspar Arreola.

Ilda se reunirá con su padre, Jesus Martinez, y sus hermanas, Maria Victoria Duran y Rosa Betali Martinez.

Sus amigos, familiares y personas amadas la van a extrañar entrañablemente.
