Ila Mae Buchanan, 98, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Sheridan on Anderson.
Ila Mae was born on February 8, 1910, in Corsicana, Texas, to Will and Josephine Donaho. She was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church, where she enjoyed working in the nursery for many years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Ila Mae and her husband Henry were the owners of the Bryan Café in their early years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Buchanan.
Survivors include her niece, Mildred Stanly; great-niece, Kay Theet and husband, Danny; and great-nephew, James A. Stanley II.
