Helen Bailey, 94, of Bryan, passed away on August 10, 2021. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021, from 4-6 pm, at Hillier of BRYAN.

Helen was born on May 9, 1927, in Silsbee, Texas, to her parents, Orrin and Odelia Vickers.

Family was the most important thing in Helen's life. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She spent her life homemaking and taking care of her family. She was also a co-owner of Baily Oxygen and Tool Company.

Helen was active in many organizations. She participated in a Social Sorority when she was younger and as an adult, was involved in the Carousel Club and the Women's Club.

In Helen's spare time, she enjoyed painting, cooking, and shopping. She also loved decorating during the holidays, attending Aggie football games, and spending time with her loved ones at the family lake house.

Helen was a fun, loving, and caring woman. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Helen is reunited with her loving husband, Lawrence D. Bailey; daughter, Vicki Bailey Goldberg; parents, Orrin and Odelia Vickers; and siblings, Wilburn, Cleo, Hazel, Leroy, and Thelma. Helen is survived by her daughter, Terri Newman and husband Mark Newman; grandchildren, Blake Newman and Christopher Newman; and several nieces and nephews.
