Gordon E. Klintworth, 67 of Bryan Tx passed away in his home, surrounded by family on June 18, 2023.
Gordon was born in Bryan to Morris E. and Madeline Klintworth on January 20, 1956. He attended Bryan High School and graduated in 1974. He married his wife, Lisa Travelstead, on August 31, 1991. An insurance agent for over 20 years, he went on to become a business owner of MLK Grocery for many years. He wasn’t ready to stop yet, so he worked for his brothers until his retirement in February 2021.
One of his greatest passions was helping and guiding his children, nieces, and nephews with their 4-H and FFA Projects – pigs were his favorite. The entire family has many fond memories in the pig pens and show rings with him!
Gordon is preceded in death by his parents, Morris E. and Madeline Klintworth; and grandparents, William J. and Clara Klintworth, and Parker and Olive Dows.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Lisa Klintworth; daughter, Stephanie Byer and husband Eric; sons, David Pack and wife Jodie, and Justin Pack and wife Kristy; brothers, Marvin Klintworth and wife Donna, and Brian Klintworth and wife Brandy; sister, Julie Smith and husband Brandon; nieces, Danielle, Ashley, Dusty, Krystal, Cheyenne, Kendall, and Shelby; nephews, Jeff, Ty, and Jason; and grandchildren, Jessanie, Kylee, Maddie, Caitlyn, Grayson, Kaydence, Makena Faye, David Ray, and Kaysin.
Pallbearers will be Justin Pack, David Pack, Eric Byer, Brian Klintworth, and Ty Klintworth
