Francis “Frank” Wade Burdine, 76, of Bryan, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019. He was born in Beaver Falls, PA on February 18, 1943 to Frank and Erlanda “Coke” Burdine. On September 21, 1968 he married his wife of 51 years, the love of his life, Joanne Salamone in Conway, PA.
Frank loved spending time with his family, especially his two granddaughters Taylor and Abbey. He enjoyed going to Aggie football games, watching the Steelers and the Penguins on TV any chance he got. He also enjoyed watching Nascar and loved going to the races.
He loved people. He never met a stranger, everyone was a friend. He genuinely cared for and loved being with anyone he knew.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Erlanda “Coke” Burdine and his in laws Joseph and Angie Salamone.
He is survived by his wife Joanne, his daughter and son in law Stacey and Tray Parks of Bryan, TX, his son Brian and his partner Crystal Stout of New Braunfels, Texas and his granddaughters Taylor Parks of New York, NY, and Abbey Parks of London, England.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7 pm, Friday, December 20, 2019, at Hillier Funeral Home of BRYAN. The graveside service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 9 am at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bryan, Texas.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army of Bryan and College Station in his honor.
