Frances Bernal

Our beloved mother, Frances Bernal, 97, former resident of Bryan for most of her life, currently living in Hutto, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008. Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Hillier Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Frances was born to Manuel and Angelita Coronado on March 10, 1911, in Thorndale, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Bernal, and children, John Bernal and Eva Ramirez.

Survivors include her eight children, Ruth Singleterry, Helen Guerrero, Janie Bernal, Sam Bernal, Frances Cornejo, Rosemary Walker, Angel Flores and Joe Bernal; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Honored to serve as her pallbearers are her grandsons, Gabriel Ramirez, Phillip Cruz Jr., Tony Ruiz Jr., Phillip Cornejo Jr., John Bernal, Capt. Dan Walker Jr. and Christopher Guerrero and great-grandson, Ron Morris III.
