Evaristo"Victor", "Vito" Acosta Cornejo, age 88, passed away on May 29th, 2022 at his home.
Victor was born on October 26th, 1933, in Steele Store, Texas, also known as Mudville, now known as Bryan, Texas. Victor retired from Texas A&M from the MSC department after 40 years of service. In those 40 years, Victor missed work twice to attend the funeral of his parents. He never married nor had children of his own. Victor was a peaceful and quiet person. He was giving and helpful; his family came first, especially his nephews and nieces.
Victor is preceded in death by his parents, Acencion and Francisca Cornejo, his brother-in-law, Alejandro Constancio Sr, his nephew, Alexander Constancio Jr, and his great niece and best friend, Chloe' Alese Constancio.
Victor is survived by two brothers and one sister, John Cornejo and his wife Elena, Phillip Cornejo and his wife Francis, all of Austin, Texas and Gloria Cornejo Constancio of Bryan, Texas. Four nephews and a niece, Robert Cornejo and his wife Sandy, Phillip Cornejo, Mary Ann Gonzalez and her husband James, all of Austin, Texas. Joe Constancio, George Constancio and his wife Gina, and his niece-in-law, Linda Constancio all of Bryan, Texas, many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Hospice of Brazos Valley. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Brazos Valley.
