Jake grew up in Baytown, Texas and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He loved fishing, sports, rodeo, dirt-bike racing, and dancing. He was also an avid golfer and loved playing dominoes. After retiring from his welding career, he enjoyed being a greeter at Sam’s Club. Also known as PawPaw, Poppa, Mr. Jake, Bim Jr., Old Man, and Uglier than Me, Jake will be remembered for being a great prankster, his love of horses, all the love and pride he took in his family, and his love of sweets, a trait he inherited from his mother.
