Dr. Dickie Rychetsky, 78, passed away April 11, 2023.
Born June 24, 1944, Dickie grew up in Robstown, Texas. He left his hometown to earn a degree in Biology from Texas A&I University, a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Houston, and a degree in dentistry from the University of Texas. Dickie owned his own dental practice in College Station for over 30 years before passing the business on to his son.
Dickie was a founding member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as the Lions Club. He made several trips on Guatemala Medical Missions. A lifetime gardener, he was famous for his dill pickles at yearly church events and he loved to cook and go hunting and fishing.
Dickie was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Annie Rychetsky; brother, Harry Rychetsky; and mother-in-law, Betty Hooker.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laura Rychetsky of College Station; son, Richard Rychetsky (Mary) of College Station; daughter, Robin Randall (Jeremy) of Spring, Texas; son, Joey Rychetsky (Kelly) of College Station; brother, Jerome Rychetsky (Carmen) of Banquete, Texas; sister-in-law, Pat Rychetsky of Calallen, Texas; and grandchildren, Richie, Andrew, William, Max, and Jack Rychetsky, Ben and Jake Randall, and Joseph, Ellie, and Emily Rychetsky.
