Dora Alice Loria

Dora Alice Loria passed away at home with daughter, Micki Baudoin, by her side on Sunday February 25^th, 2024 at age 91. Dora will be best remembered for her caring heart, willingness to help all and her hard work ethic. 

Dora was born in Calvert Texas, August 4^th, 1932. She graduated from Calvert High School in 1950 while raising three of her four brothers. She retired from the Post Office after a full career then went on to run her own business with granddaughter Monica Watson for 20 years, working into her 80's. 

Dora is preceded in death by both parents Leland Davis and Blanche Davis, late husband Pete Loria, brothers Fred Davis, Dave Davis and daughter Rose "Sandi" Biszalik.

Her survivors include brothers, Don Davis and Richard Davis, daughter Micki Baudoin, grandchildren include Kim Smejkal, Micah Baudoin, Monica Watson. Great Grandchildren include Joseph Smejkal, Makayla Baudoin, Mason Baudoin. Very dear family friends Henry 

McDaniel and Lisa Dixon.

Dora was a very strong and independent woman who had a huge loving heart. She was always willing to help people in times of need without question. She was very hard working, never resting, always working on something. Dora was always willing to teach. Dora was the matriarch to our family and she will never be forgotten as she has taught us so much, she will live with us forever.
