Deborah Lea Neumann Flagler

October 24, 1957 — March 1, 2024

Normangee

Surrounded by her family, Deborah Lea Neumann Flagler, 66, passed peacefully from this life and into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on March 1, 2024.

Debbie, as her family and friends called her, was born on October 24, 1957 in Bryan, Texas. She was the oldest of eleven children, a role that tasked her with many responsibilities from a young age. Debbie had a calling for selfless service from the very beginning as she lovingly cared for her younger siblings well into their adult years. If you had the privilege of knowing Debbie, you were likely blessed with her loving words and kindness. Her desire to help others went beyond family, as she supported anyone who crossed her path. Debbie always had the perfect words to offer those in need of comfort, encouragement, and wisdom. Once someone came into Debbie’s life, they became family. Always willing to listen and care for others, Debbie’s legacy will continue in the values she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Being “Gigi” was her pride and joy, and she will forever be remembered for her charitable character and kind heart.

Debbie was predeceased in death by her parents, Lloyd and Frances Fairbanks, and her youngest sister, Rosa “Shelly” Fairbanks.

She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Flagler; her daughters Alysha (John) Metzger of Fredericksburg, Christy (Marcus) Walker of Bryan, Crystal (Shane) Moynihan of Bryan, and Laura (David) Burkham of Austin; her grandchildren Hunter, Logan, Trysten, Reagen, Averly, Carson, Kenlyn, Mason, and Jack; her siblings Kenneth (Rita) Fairbanks of Bryan, Jerry (Mae) Fairbanks of Bryan, John Fairbanks of Anderson, Pamela (Jim) Boyd of Franklin, Lloyd (Annie)Fairbanks of Keith, Regina (Edwin) Villanova of Iola, Mark (Katalla)Fairbanks of Arlington, Christina Fairbanks of Iola, Samuel Fairbanks of Edge; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a slew of other extended family, albeit by blood or friendship.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who helped throughout Debbie’s intense battle with cancer, especially the medical team at the Cancer Clinic of Bryan and Traditions Health of College Station.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Traditions Health, LLC Executive Offices: 150 4th Avenue North, Suite 2300 Nashville, TN 37219.
