Coty Lee Schultz

February 27, 1990 — October 18, 2022

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Coty Lee Schultz, 32, a most beloved son, passed suddenly on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather. Coty will be missed every day by his father, mother, sister and brother, maternal grandfather, paternal grandmother, his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Although only 32 at the time of his death, Coty affected many people in his lifetime.

Coty was a strong, soulful person who loved all things ethereal, earth and sky.  He was inquisitive and intelligent.  Music writing was a passion for him, he has written over 200 original songs.  Coty loved to cook and felt rewarded when he was able to share his gourmet meals with family and friends.  Animals were a significant part of Coty’s life since he was a child.  He was a friend who loved deeply and sincerely. His arms extended to anyone needing an encouraging embrace, and his shoulders were wide.

Love never dies.

We will be restoring Coty to the earth and sky on Galveston Island, to the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at 3 pm.

To all that is Coty

May the sun bring you energy every day; bring light into your soul.

May the moon softly restore you by light bathing you in the glow of restful sleep and peaceful dreams.

May the rain wash away your worries, and cleanse the hurt that sits in your heart.

May the breeze blow new strength into your being, and may you believe in the courage of yourself.

May you walk gently through the world, keeping your loved ones with you always, knowing that you are never parted in the beating of your heart.
