Consuelo Mauricio, 66, de Bryan, dejó esta tierra para estar con su amado esposo, Andrés Mauricio González, el lunes 9 de noviembre de 2020. Su familia sabe que ahora están reunidos en el cielo juntos y en paz.

Consuelo nació el 22 de febrero de 1954 en Monterrey Nuevo León, México, de sus padres, León García y Carmen Clemons. Consuelo creció con sus hermanos en México. Consuelo conoció al amor de su vida, Andrés, cuando solo tenía 17 años. Se conocieron en una quinceñera del primo de Andrés. Se enamoraron rápidamente y se casaron en Nuevo León el 14 de noviembre de 1971. Tuvieron cuatro hijos juntos, Andrés Mauricio García, Laura Alicia Mauricio García, Jorge Alberto Mauricio García y Mayra Judith Mauricio García. Consuelo fue una madre increíble, llena de amor, guía y fe. Transmitió todo lo que era a sus hijos a lo largo de sus vidas y los amo toda su vida. Tenía un corazón bondadoso y cualquiera que la conocía tenía la gracia de la presencia de una persona hermosa.

Consuelo tenía una gran fe en Dios. Su fe era importante para ella, agradeció al Señor Dios por todo en su vida. ¡Consuelo era una cocinera excelente! Le encantaba cocinar para todos los miembros de su familia y para cualquiera que quisiera unirse. El sabor que le dio a la comida, con el toque de sus manos, le dio a la comida un sabor especial, porque fue hecha con amor. Le encantaba viajar, a cualquier lugar, ¡especialmente con su familia! Coser y tejer eran sus pasatiempos favoritos. Le encantaba hacer gorros y guantes para sus nietos. Hacerles a sus nietos todo tipo de prendas de punto fue un acto de amor para ellos. Amaba ser abuela tanto como amaba ser madre. Su familia significaba todo en el mundo para ella y ella siempre los estaba uniendo. La familia era el aspecto más importante de su vida.

Consuelo se reencontrará con su esposo, Andrés Mauricio García; sus padres, León García y Carmen Clemons; y sus hermanos, Antero García, Enrique García, Javier García.

La extrañarán sus hijos, Andrés Mauricio García, su hija Laura Alicia Mauricio García, su hijo Jorge Alberto Mauricio García y su esposa Rosario Mauricio, y su hija Mayra Judith Mauricio García; nietos, Jonathan Mauricio, Miguel Angel Mauricio, Emily Mauricio, Anahi Nechar, Marissa Alejandra Rodríguez y esposo Rodrigo Andrade, Ana Laura Rodríguez, Valerie Ramos, Jacob García, Mia Mauricio, Zoe Mauricio, Jorge Abraham Mauricio, David Herrera, Albert Lee García, Jaxen Cathey, Juditlyn Cathey y Opie Wolf Mauricio; bisnietos, Zayn Andrade, Liam Andrade, Serenity Mauricio, Andrea Mauricio; y hermanos, Laurentina Rangel, Gilberto García, Armando García, Rigoberto García, Leopoldo García, Guillermina García y Rosalinda García.

Se llevará a cabo una visita de 5 a 8 pm, con un rosario que comenzará a las 6 pm, el miércoles 18 de noviembre, en Hillier of BRYAN. La misa de entierro cristiano comenzará a las 11 am, el jueves 19 de noviembre, en la iglesia católica Santa Theresa. Los servicios junto a la tumba seguirán en el cementerio católico Mount Calvary.

Consuelo Mauricio, 66, of Bryan, left this earth to be with her loving husband, Andrés Mauricio González, on Monday, November 9, 2020. Her family knows that they are now gathered in heaven together and in peace.

Consuelo was born on February 22, 1954 in Monterrey Nuevo León, Mexico, to her parents, León García and Carmen Clemons. Consuelo grew up with her siblings in Mexico. Consuelo met the love of her life, Andrés, when she was only 17 years old. They met in a Quinceñera of Andrés's cousin. They fell in love quickly and were married in Nuevo León on November 14, 1971. They had four children together, Andrés Mauricio García, Laura Alicia Mauricio García, Jorge Alberto Mauricio García and Mayra Judith Mauricio García. Consuelo was an incredible mother, full of love, guidance and faith. She passed on everything she was to her children throughout their lives and She love them all her life. She had a kind heart and anyone who knew her had the grace of the presence of a beautiful person.

Consuelo had great faith in God. Her faith was important to her, she thanked the Lord God for everything in her life. Consuelo was an excellent cook! She loved cooking for everyone in her family and anyone who wanted to join. The flavor that she gave to the food, with the touch of her hands, gave the food a special flavor, because it was made with love. She loved to travel, anywhere, especially with her family! Sewing and knitting were her favorite hobbies. She loved making hats and mittens for her grandchildren. Making all kinds of knitwear for her grandchildren was an act of love for them. She loved being a grandmother as much as she loved being a mother. Her family meant everything in the world to her and she was always bringing them together. Family was the most important aspect of her life.

Consuelo will be reunited with her husband, Andrés Mauricio García; her parents, León García and Carmen Clemons; and her brothers, Antero García, Enrique García, Javier García.

She will be missed by her children, Andrés Mauricio García, her daughter Laura Alicia Mauricio García, her son Jorge Alberto Mauricio García and his wife Rosario Mauricio, and her daughter Mayra Judith Mauricio García; grandchildren, Jonathan Mauricio, Miguel Angel Mauricio, Emily Mauricio, Anahi Nechar, Marissa Alejandra Rodríguez and husband Rodrigo Andrade, Ana Laura Rodríguez, Valerie Ramos, Jacob García, Mia Mauricio, Zoe Mauricio, Jorge Abraham Mauricio, David Herrera, Albert Lee García, Jaxen Cathey, Juditlyn Cathey and Opie Wolf Mauricio; great-grandchildren, Zayn Andrade, Liam Andrade, Serenity Mauricio, Andrea Mauricio; and siblings, Laurentina Rangel, Gilberto García, Armando García, Rigoberto García, Leopoldo García, Guillermina García and Rosalinda García.

A visitation will take place from 5-8 pm, with a rosary beginning at 6 pm, on Wednesday, November 18, at Hillier of BRYAN. The Christian burial mass will begin at 11 am, Thursday, November 19, at Saint Theresa Catholic Church. Gravestone services will continue at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
